I'm no stranger to gel polish, but this was my first time using the squeezy-tube-with-brush-attached format. It's definitely different than painting with traditional bottles and dippable brushes so there is a bit of a learning curve. The colors in this set are bright, vibrant and great for summer. You might have to work for some of them, though. I found there is no set number of coats you should count on. Rather, each color is different in terms of its opacity, so some may need more coats than others.I will say that it's a bit of a strange experience to use these for the first time. It's tough to know how hard to squeeze. And if you get too much polish on your brush at once, you have to wipe it off somewhere since there's no bottle to wipe it back into (I used lintfree wipes on a couple occasions for this purpose). I found that, as long as I got the optimal amount of polish squeezed out onto the brush, application was easy. Not too runny, streaky or thick.I was not a fan of the base or top coat that came with this set. I found the base coat to be very runny. I'm not a fan of doing cleanup work before curing if I can help it, but this base ran everywhere and left me no choice. The top coat was *ok* but I prefer my go-too fav instead. For me, personally, I see this product having two main strengths: novelty value and good for travel. I'm glad I tried these because I enjoyed experimenting with this format. I do think they'd be handy for travel, as these tubes are much less likely to break.Overall, I'm glad I tried these. I may still prefer traditional bottles, but I can easily see why these polishes work well for lots of folks. Objectively, the colors are nice, and the polish lasts a good, long time with proper nail prep beforehand. While i love the convenience of the brush tip, you give up control. You cannot wipe an extra glob back into a bottle to work with a different size amount.Additionally, the bristles size/shape/quality fits not allow me as much control over the nail polish as what I'm used to. I think they're too long.My top coat did not work out of the box. I tried messing with it to get it to work and eventually gave it to my husband to fix, and he got out working, but it seemed like it was half empty. I got a few nails painted with it but then i was having some consistency issues with it, so i switched back to my regular top coat. The colors are beautiful but did take several layers. The colors are very pretty and if you have your own top coat on hand, then i judge this set is a fun way to expand your color collection... it does have great colors. And no one else mentioned any problems with top coat that i noticed, so hopefully it was a one-off.While the idea of the application is awesome, it just wasn't as good as regular polish containers, plus, storage... i store my nail polish on a nail polish rack like they have at salons. The bases aren't very wide, so i can't get all of them standing up without starting to knock them over and having them fall everywhere. That to me is a practical implication that probably would have been relevant had i considered it before hand, but i didn't.Like a lot of people, I started doing my own nails during Covid and have tried out a ton of different polishes. This is the first one that I have tried that uses tubes though. I really can't decide if I really like them or not though. It can be a little difficult to control when trying to apply it. For one thing, this polish is pretty thin compared to a lot of polishes I've tried. Prepare yourself because I have had to put about 4 coats on any time that I have used it. That is a little annoying and twice as many as I normally have to do. The polish itself goes on fine, it just is so thin that it doesn't cover well. The colors are beautiful though! Overall, I still like the set and am willing to give it another chance. So many beautiful shades to choose from but I only gave 3 stars because the polish doesn't spread very neatly. My hands aren't the steadiness so it's difficult for me to polish neatly with this style brush. Very easy to squeeze out too much.Pros:- really pretty colors- nice storage box- packaging makes it easy to identify colorsCons:- some colors are stickier than others- some of the applicators are slightly damaged.I like Imtiti Gel Nail Polish in general but to be honest, I have more control in applying gel nail polish in a bottle that with this set. The colors are lovely though but there is a learning curve.⭐⭐Thanks for reading my review & I hope that it is helpful⭐⭐This set arrived properly packaged and sealed with no spills or damage whatsoever! It comes in a very giftable box for any nail enthusiast! But im not 100% sure about how i feel about these tubed gel polishes! Pros: its convenient for travel or to throw in your purse for emergency happy hour manicure! Colors are also pretty close to display pics! Cons:One squeeze is not enough for complete nail coverage and 2 squeezes is way too much! Once you start applying on long nails it feels like the tube starts leaking out more polish but what makes it bad is that the brush is too heavy and starts to quickly strip away the polish as quickly as it is spreading it if that makes any sense! So it feels and looks like streaks and uneven layers of color! Even layering it with top coat doesn't do much to even it out! Makes nails feel "thick" with paint! And biggest con is probably fact that since its a built in brush after use even if you do your best to clean the brush bristles of any lingering paint it still ends up drying out and hardening the bristles ! So next time you use it you have to dip brushes in acetone just to soften them up! So would i recommend this tubed polish set??? Probably not...
